A PHARMACOLOGICAL STUDY OF TERMINATION OF EARLY PREGNANCY BY ADMINISTRATION OF 15-METHYL PROSTAG LANDIN F2a ALONE AND IN COMBINATION WITH TESTOSTOS- TERONE PROPIONATE / 中国药理学通报

15-methyl prostaglandin F2a (PGF2a) in a dose of 0.2 rag/kg B. W.combined with testosterone propionate ( TP ) in a dnse of 25mg/ kg B. W. was better than 15-methyl PGF2a alone in a dope of 0.2mg/ kg B. W. on termination of early pregnancy in rats.The endometriurn necrosis only in the uterine deciduous of rats treated with TP.All the above results show that the combined administration of 15 methyl PGF2a and TP is better than the administration of 15-methyl PGF2a alone. TP can probably strengthen the abortion effect of 15-rnethyl PGF2a.
